Day 1 : Kigali – Akagera
You will be picked from Kigali airport upon arrival by your guide (early morning flight recommended) and drive to Akagera National park located in the southern part of the country bordering Tanzania. You will check in for lunch at your hotel before you head in search for some wildlife and then a boat cruise in the evening at Lake Ihema, in search for the large Nile crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes and a number, of bird species available as well. You will later do a brief evening game drive as your find your way to your lodge at Akagera Game lodge. Meal Plan : Lunch & dinner
Day 2 : Full day Game drive
Today you will head off at 6.30 am for a game drive in search for the early risers with your packed lunch to spot some wildlife such as the zebras, impalas, hippos, giraffes to mention but a few. You will have a full day game drive with a picnic lunch. After lunch you will do more game drive to add on your animal counts, and return in the late evening for dinner and overnight at your lodge at Akagera Game lodge. Meal Plan : Full board.
Day 3 : Akagera - Kigali
After your relaxed morning breakfast, you will head for a brief short game drive as find your way out of the park to Kigali, and you will be dropped off at a place of your convenience. End of service.
